Ace Pro Forestry Mulching and Land management LLC is excited to announce an available position for a Tree Grounds Man within our dedicated team. As a prominent player in forest management and environmental care, we ensure the conservation of natural resources through innovative and sustainable practices. This position will play a critical role in supporting our field teams in maintaining the health and aesthetics of the landscapes we service.

The Tree Grounds Man position is geared towards individuals who are passionate about outdoor work and environmental care. The role demands physical stamina and precision in execution. It is important to note that this is not a remote job, and the successful candidate will be expected to be on-site to perform their duties effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and clearing of sites for mulching and land management projects.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including chainsaws, wood chippers, and mulchers, under the guidance of the Foreman.
• Help in the planting, pruning, and maintaining of trees and shrubs to ensure optimal growth and health.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines to minimize risk of injury and accidents on-site.
• Participate in training sessions to advance knowledge and skills related to forestry and landscape management.
• Support team members in handling heavy equipment and machinery.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the site supervisor immediately.
• Engage in pest and disease management activities to protect wildlife and plant health.
• Assist in the assessment of project areas, providing detailed reports on terrain, vegetation, and potential obstacles to the management team.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain an updated knowledge of new environmental regulations and best practices in forestry management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Proven experience in landscaping, forestry, or a similar field preferred.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and heavy machinery used in forestry and landscaping.
• Strong physical fitness, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform strenuous activities for prolonged periods.
• Demonstrable understanding of safety practices relating to the forestry industry.
• Excellent teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with crew members.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting and team interaction.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and wet conditions.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work assignments as needed.
• Driven to learn and grow within the field, showing initiative and engagement in continuous education and training opportunities.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to access remote job sites.
