Spartan Developments Inc. is a marketing and sales company based in Middletown, CT, currently seeking motivated individuals for an Entry-Level Marketing & Sales Assistant position. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing, sales, and customer engagement within a team-oriented environment.

This position is not remote and requires participation in in-person activities, including events, workshops, and daily operations at our Middletown office and surrounding areas in Connecticut.

Responsibilities may include:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns that effectively reflect the company’s brand and services.
  • Assist in the organization and management of promotional events to enhance product visibility and foster client engagement.
  • Perform market research to gather relevant data that aids in decision-making and strategy formulation.
  • Engage directly with customers through various channels to facilitate awareness and bolster brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with senior marketing and sales staff to identify and leverage cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of company offerings, market trends, and industry shifts to ensure relevant and effective communication with clients.
  • Help manage social media platforms by creating engaging content and responding to public queries.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to advance skills and enhance performance.
  • Implement feedback received from management to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
  • Provide logistical support during marketing events and sales meetings, ensuring that all activities are executed smoothly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Keen interest in marketing trends and consumer behaviors.
  • Basic proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
