Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Educator

Position Summary: The FAP Educator delivers prevention and education services that strengthen Soldiers, Families, and the Fort Hood community. Responsibilities include providing FAP trainings IAW AR 608‑18, teaching ACS curriculum, developing training materials, facilitating workshops (stress/anger management, intimate partner abuse prevention, relationship enrichment, child abuse/neglect prevention, child safety, internet safety, bullying prevention, and parent education programs), tracking training data in AFWP, coordinating training logistics, preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports, and supporting government staff with Commander Desk Side Briefings and mandated reporter training.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, behavioral science, education, community health, public health, or related field.
  • Two years of experience in domestic abuse, family violence, or related human services.
  • One year of experience supporting a Family Advocacy Program or Military Family Support Center.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

Ability to coordinate training across diverse military and civilian audiences.
