Summary of Role:
Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. (DysTech) is seeking an experienced Instructors/Trainers Manager to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) J1 Military & Family Readiness Staff Training (MFRST) program. The Instructors/Trainers Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering high-quality virtual and in-person training to National Guard Military & Family Readiness staff nationwide. This role oversees training execution, manages instructor resources, ensures instructional quality and consistency, and supports curriculum implementation across orientation, sustainment, and professional development training tracks.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of Military & Family Readiness training events (virtual and in-person).
- Deliver engaging, instructor-led training to adult learners using approved curricula and training plans.
- Supervise and support Military & Family Readiness Trainers/Instructors, ensuring consistent instructional quality and adherence to training standards.
- Coordinate training schedules, instructor assignments, and logistics in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Ensure training delivery aligns with DoD, Army, Air Force, National Guard Bureau policies, and approved curricula.
- Apply adult learning principles, ADDIE methodology, and best practices for virtual and classroom instruction.
- Assess learner comprehension, collect feedback, and provide timely evaluation results and recommendations.
- Support development and administration of assessments, knowledge checks, and training evaluations.
- Track training participation, certifications, and completion data and support accurate reporting.
- Ensure classrooms (virtual and in-person) meet safety, security, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field and at least three (3) years of experience delivering adult instruction; or
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a combination of ten (10) years of education and experience in adult instruction and training delivery
- Instructional Experience
- Experience developing and delivering training for adult learners in both virtual and in-person environments
- Familiarity with instructional systems design (ISD), ADDIE, and Kirkpatrick evaluation models
- Experience facilitating workshops, courses, and professional development sessions
- Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of Military & Family Readiness, Financial Readiness, Employment Assistance, Transition Assistance, or related programs preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with learning management systems and online training platforms
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple training events and priorities
- Certifications
- Within 180 days of hire, must be certified to administer at least one psychometric or leadership assessment (e.g., Four Lenses, MBTI, TKI, FIRO-B)
- Security Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1 background investigation (NACI)
- Must meet CAC eligibility requirements and comply with all DoD, Army, Air Force, and NGB security and training requirements
