We are specifically in search of a full-time, expanded function, dental assistant to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, friendly, and organized individual who loves dentistry and aims to grow professionally while contributing to the success of our practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Doctor chair-side for multiple procedures: Crowns, Composites, Root Canals, Extractions, Implants.
- Discuss dental treatment plans and be able to explain dental needs to patients.
- X-ray certification required; our facility is fully digital.
- Ability to make single and multi-unit temporaries for anterior and posterior teeth.
- Discuss post-op instructions with patients for multiple procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain all dental instruments in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Occasionally call, confirm and schedule patient appointments.
- Maintain up-to-date certifications in OSHA, HIPAA, and CPR.
- Write lab scripts accurately for dental procedures.
- Take dental impressions and digital scans proficiently.
- Organize rooms and setup for dental procedures effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Must possess a high focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior in all work situations.
- Dependable and punctual, with a record of arriving at work on time.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and appearance at all times within the clinic.
- Competent computer skills; must be computer literate.
- Must be an expanded functions dental assistant.
- Preferably holds at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
