Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
• Good knowledge of various test equipment.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and local electrical codes.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to plan and execute critical projects.
• Provide high-quality customer service during all customer interactions.
• Regularly update job knowledge through continued education and professional development opportunities.
• Assist and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician.
• Experience in commercial and residential electrical systems.
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
• Valid license to practice profession (Must have ET card or journeyman card current for CA).
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues.
