As a Risk Management Assistant at Wolf & Company, P.C., you will be entrusted with supporting our risk management processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and upholding our standards of compliance and risk assessment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with different departments to identify and assess potential risks to the business.
  • Support the risk management team in the preparation of reports and documentation related to risk assessment.
  • Review and analyze new regulations, policies, and laws that impact the company’s operations.
  • Facilitate risk management trainings and workshops for staff across various departments.
  • Assist in conducting periodic risk evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans based on assessment findings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases related to risk management activities.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to ensure electronic data and systems are protected against potential threats.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and crisis management exercises.
  • Conduct research on best practices in risk management and recommend enhancements to existing processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business, finance, or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Some understanding of project management practices and techniques.
  • Experience with data analysis and the ability to interpret complex information.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of risk management.
  • A proactive approach to identify and solve problems.
  • Experience in a regulatory or compliance environment is considered an asset.
