Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and protocols.
- Work collaboratively with different departments to identify and assess potential risks to the business.
- Support the risk management team in the preparation of reports and documentation related to risk assessment.
- Review and analyze new regulations, policies, and laws that impact the company’s operations.
- Facilitate risk management trainings and workshops for staff across various departments.
- Assist in conducting periodic risk evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans based on assessment findings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases related to risk management activities.
- Collaborate with IT departments to ensure electronic data and systems are protected against potential threats.
- Participate in emergency response planning and crisis management exercises.
- Conduct research on best practices in risk management and recommend enhancements to existing processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business, finance, or related fields is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
