Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dental Practice Administrator to lead daily operations, support team performance, and ensure a smooth, productive workflow throughout the practice. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of dental operations, insurance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the practice (front and back office coordination)
  • Ensure the hygiene and doctor schedules are optimized and productive
  • Manage and support team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor KPIs, production, collections, and accounts receivable
  • Oversee Medicaid and PPO insurance processes, including: 
    • Eligibility verification
    • Claims submission and follow-up
    • Denials and aging reports
  • Ensure accurate use and optimization of Eaglesoft
  • Implement and maintain office systems, protocols, and SOPs
  • Lead morning huddles and team meetings
  • Handle patient experience, service recovery, and communication
  • Coordinate with vendors, labs, and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of dental management experience
  • Strong knowledge of: 
    • Pediatric and/or Orthodontic workflows
    • Medicaid and PPO insurance plans
  • Experience with Eaglesoft (required/preferred)
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong understanding of: 
    • Scheduling optimization
    • Insurance and billing systems
    • Dental KPIs and reporting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
