Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

As an Entry-Level Outside Pest Control Sales Consultant, your day-to-day work centers on meeting cold homeowner clients at their homes and having real, in-person conversations about residential pest solutions. Your focus is understanding each household’s concerns and, when appropriate, guiding them toward a service option that fits their situation in order to enroll them.

Strong performance in this role depends on your ability to connect quickly, communicate with confidence, and make a clear impression in a short window of time at the prospect's doorstep. Consistency, professionalism, and preparation allow you to turn first-time introductions into ongoing customer relationships and a reliable stream of opportunities.

RIDD supports your success with a structured development environment built around practical experience. You’ll receive direct field mentorship, a tested sales framework, and access to multiple learning formats — including live training, digital resources, and hands-on practice. Those who apply what they learn and perform well can expect rapid advancement, as personal development is central to how we operate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commit to traveling to, and working, in one of our 8 locations around the US (Rental Bonus covers costs.)

  • Conduct door-to-door prospecting to increase awareness of our affordable, high-quality pest control services.

  • Work around homeowners' schedules, focusing on afternoon and evening availability to maximize engagement.

  • Commit to a seasonal summer work schedule from April through September (or a comparable time frame).

  • Educate homeowners on the long-term benefits of professional pest control services.

  • Participate in daily sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring strong relationships through regular follow-ups.

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • No sales experience? No problem! While a background in sales is a plus, we provide comprehensive training to set you up for success.

  • Perfect for entry-level candidates! Recent high school graduates and college students are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Prepared to travel to, and live, in-market at one of our 8 locations nationwide (housing costs subsidized through performance-based bonuses)

  • Must be resilient and adaptable, able to handle regular rejection while maintaining a professional, positive attitude.

  • Full-time availability required (9-hour shifts) from April through September for the summer sales season.

  • Strong communication skills are a must; bilingual candidates are a plus!

  • Willingness to learn, follow scripts, and complete sales training to improve performance.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:

  • Approximated seasonal/summer earnings: $60,000 - $75,000 (includes advances, commissions, performance bonuses, and profit-sharing).
