Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt, courteous, and effective responses.
- Help maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Execute problem resolution efforts and make decisions that benefit both the customer and the company.
- Attend regular training sessions to update skills and improve knowledge.
- Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls, emails, and live chat messages.
- Document customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents following internal company standards.
- Follow communication scripts when handling different topics but also have the skills to adapt when necessary.
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions or alternatives.
- Upsell additional products and services by recognizing opportunities to cross-sell relevant items.
- Maintain customer records by updating account information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative, ideally in a remote setting.
- Strong phone handling skills and active listening capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices along with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- A high school degree; further education is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy with the capability to effectively navigate company-related tools and systems.
- Empathy and a customer-centric mindset to ensure all customers feel valued and satisfied.
- Flexibility to work various shifts or additional hours as required by business needs.
