Full Time Dental Assistant

Salary Range:  $25.00 - $30.00 hour

Lebowitz Dental Associates is a well-established, non-corporate, multigenerational family general dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to our community. Our dental practice was established in Phoenix in 1917 and has had three providers over the past 107 years. The son of the present doctor has recently joined the practice to continue the tradition of providing comprehensive, advanced care that fits the needs of our patients in every stage of life. As a Dental Assistant at Lebowitz Dental Associates, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
  • Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
  • taking  digital x-rays, CT images and intraoral digital images
  • Digital Scanning using Itero scanner
  • Maintaining patient records and entering clinical SOAP notes
  • Placing retraction cords 
  • Taking alginate impressions and pouring stone models
  • Loading milling machine (specific training will be provided)
  • Providing patients with post-operative instructions and oral hygiene advice
  • Ensuring a clean and organized work environment
  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
  • Assisting with front desk duties as needed

**Qualifications:**

- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred- High school diploma or equivalent required- Previous experience of a minimum of 5 years as a dental assistant - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to work well in a team environment- Proficiency in dental software. Carestack software is being used. Training will be provided- CPR certification is a plus- Must be a dog lover, as emotional support dogs are part of our team- Highly empathetic with a strong ability to connect with patients on a personal level is most important.
