Job Description

Parseeker Logistics is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and dependable FedEx CDL-A Linehaul Driver for home daily & over-the-road (OTR) assignments. As an integral part of our logistics and transportation team, this full-time position is geared towards individuals who are not only seeking a dynamic driving career but also value the importance of safety, efficiency, and reliability. The role involves handling long-distance deliveries and requires a strong commitment as it is not a remote job. The candidate will be operating from Pittston, PA, engaging in linehaul duties that are crucial to the smooth operations of FedEx and its supply chain network. The work schedule is set from Wednesday to Sunday, spanning from 4PM to 1AM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and comply with all safety standards to ensure the truck is roadworthy.
• Operate a tractor-trailer truck over prescribed routes and meet scheduled pickup/delivery times accurately.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and logistics management to report any issues or delays during the route.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards, ensuring all DOT laws are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to uphold the company’s professional image.
• Use ELD (Electronic Logging Device) to adhere to DOT HOS regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pick-up operations to ensure satisfaction.
• Be willing to travel and cover other routes, staying away from home for up to two weeks if necessary.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience REQUIRED.
• Doubles endorsement REQUIRED (doubles experience NOT required).
• Reside within a 25-mile radius of Pittston, PA.
• Must be physically capable of lifting dolly to perform double trailer hook & unhook procedure.
• Willing to travel & be away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time to cover other routes.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Excellent time management skills to handle time-sensitive shipments.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
