California Licensed Administrator for Children's Group Home

Salary Range:  $25 - $45 hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Group Home Administrator licensed in California to oversee daily operations and ensure a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for youth in care. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to maintain effective communication with staff, residents, families, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily facility operations and ensure compliance with California CDSS regulations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Regional Center staff and oversee resident admissions.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and evaluation of staff performance.

  • Oversee financial management, program development, and implementation.

  • Recruit, train, and support staff members to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.

  • Address and resolve resident and staff concerns or complaints.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience working as a Group Home Administrator in California.

  • Valid California CDSS Group Home Administrator License (required).

  • Strong understanding of state regulations and group home operations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with the regional Center, staff, residents, families, and external partners.
