Front Office Coordinator / Rehab Aide

InReach Rehab is seeking a dependable and motivated Front Office Coordinator / Rehab Aide to join our rehabilitation team at Decatur Health in Oberlin, KS. This full-time, dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a busy clinic, assisting therapists, and helping create a positive experience for every patient.

Duties and Responsibilities

Front Office Coordination

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally to create a welcoming environment.
  • Manage patient scheduling and coordinate therapist calendars.
  • Assist with check-in, check-out, and insurance verification.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Support daily clinic operations, including supply management, documentation, and communication with patients and providers.

Rehab Aide

  • Assist therapists with preparing treatment areas and organizing equipment.
  • Assist with patient care activities under the direction of licensed therapists, as appropriate.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and readiness of therapy spaces.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure efficient daily operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in healthcare administration, office coordination, customer service, or therapy support preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and OneDrive.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and patient-centered during busy or stressful situations.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to teamwork.
