Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with ophthalmic surgical procedures and operating room preparation.
• Support surgeons and clinical staff during surgery days to ensure optimal patient care.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical equipment and supplies before and after procedures.
• Facilitate efficient workflow to maintain the schedule throughout the day of surgery.
• Transport and set up surgical equipment as needed between locations.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use in compliance with safety regulations.
• Travel to various surgical sites throughout Omaha, NE, and Western Iowa to support multiple teams.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Comfort and experience in a clinical or surgical environment preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required by the job.
• Prior experience in an operating room or healthcare setting is advantageous, but not mandatory. Training is provided for suitable candidates.
