Physical Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and provide high-quality PT services to patients with a variety of conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical progress.
  • Perform therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and use of modalities.
  • Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and strategies to support recovery and long-term wellness.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated, effective care.
  • Monitor patient responses to therapy and make clinical decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program (or anticipated graduation).
  • Current Nebraska PT license (or eligibility).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Interest in rural healthcare and working collaboratively with a team.
