Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality OT services across various rural healthcare settings.
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, functional mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and appropriate modalities.
- Document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on safety, adaptive strategies, home programs, and ways to enhance independence.
- Adapt smoothly to new work environments, teams, and patient populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, effective care.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment approaches to optimize functional outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (or anticipated degree).
- Current OT license (or eligibility) in at least one state we serve; willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Strong adaptability and comfort working in diverse clinical environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
- Interest in rural healthcare and supporting rehabilitation teams across multiple communities.
- Willingness to travel and complete short-term assignments.
