TORQ Coatings, a rapidly growing leader in the home improvement industry specializing in premium concrete coatings, is actively seeking a creative and dynamic Marketing Director. Based in the Chicagoland area, this full-time position offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the marketing efforts of an expanding company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to drive marketing strategies that will significantly impact the company's growth and presence in the market. Please note, this is not a remote job.

As a Marketing Director at TORQ Coatings, you will be working directly with the Owner/Founder, an individual celebrated for their visionary and marketing-driven leadership. This high-visibility role not only promises direct involvement in shaping the marketing landscape of the company, but also provides a clear trajectory towards a Chief Marketing Officer position as the company scales.

Hybrid Option - 3-4 days in office & 1-2 days remote

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategically lead all marketing activities, including digital advertising, brand, creative initiatives, grassroots, and local community outreach.
• Liaise with external marketing partners such as agencies, media buyers, videographers, and designers to ensure maximum efficiency and impact.
• Design, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels including paid social, paid search, retargeting, and local service advertising.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Events Marketing and Brand Ambassadors, to create cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
• Develop and oversee the production of scripts, creative concepts, visual directions, and campaign messaging tailored to target audiences.
• Manage the marketing budget meticulously to ensure a strong return on investment and cost-efficiency.
• Utilize analytics to track campaign performance and provide actionable insights to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Establish and refine automations, workflows, and systems to enhance lead flow and optimize the customer journey.
• Foster a team-oriented environment and plan to build and mentor an internal marketing team as the company grows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–7 years of professional marketing experience, with a preference for backgrounds in home services or home improvement industries.
• Demonstrable expertise in managing paid media campaigns across both social and search platforms.
• Proven track record in managing relationships with agencies and creative vendors effectively.
• Competent in analyzing performance data to drive marketing decisions and improvements.
• Exceptional skills in creative direction and campaign management.
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, and possesses a strong ability to prioritize tasks in a high-stakes environment.
