This position is a Full-Time role and is based onsite; it is not a remote job opportunity.

As a Roof Mechanic at Florida Quality Roofing, you will be part of a team known for its exceptional workmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively under varying weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform roof repairs on various roof systems, ensuring each task is completed to the highest standard.
• Complete roof installations with precision, focusing on detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct necessary material runs as needed to ensure the availability of required supplies.
• Meet with and coordinate projects with building inspectors; remain on-site for inspections as required.
• Assist with general tasks at the job site that are essential for the completion of projects and smooth workflow.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Effectively operate and maintain company vehicles, upholding high standards of responsibility and care.

Requirements

• Prior experience and solid knowledge of various roofing systems, with a strong ability to conduct both repairs and new installations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to responsibly use company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish are preferred, though not required, to facilitate communication with a diverse team.
• Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
