Duties and Responsibilities

  • Become proficient in our product offerings and services to effectively guide clients towards financial security.
  • Engage actively in learning and professional growth experiences to prepare for managerial responsibilities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and maintain a client-first approach that aligns with New York Life's values.
  • Meet specific performance metrics to qualify for progressive steps in our Fast Track into Management program.
  • Participate in our six-month intensive training regime aimed at developing key management skills necessary for your growth.
  • Assume leadership roles, post-training, to recruit, train, and manage new financial professionals within your team.
  • Drive team performance and productivity through effective management techniques and practices.
  • Implement strategic business plans to identify and capitalize on new opportunities for business growth.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and regulatory compliance in all business dealings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or higher) OR a minimum of 3 years of management experience (non-retail).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building relationships and networking.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a potential and drive to take on managerial responsibilities.
  • Ability to meet the sales targets and other performance standards that precede advancement into management roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive training during the initial phase of employment as a financial professional.
  • Commitment to uphold the values and ethical standards of New York Life in all business activities and interactions.
  • Required to hold or able to acquire securities licenses and FINRA registrations for dealing with specific financial products.
