Field Supervisor – Job Profile


1. Position Objective


The Field Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and managing field operations, ensuring high-quality project execution, and leading a team of technicians and installers. This role plays a critical part in achieving company goals while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.



2. Key Responsibilities


Employee Schedule Management

 • Develop, coordinate, and monitor employee work schedules

 • Optimize labor allocation and ensure efficient use of resources


Project Oversight

 • Supervise field projects from initiation to completion

 • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards


Inventory & Material Management

 • Monitor availability, usage, and condition of materials, tools, and equipment

 • Maintain accountability and minimize loss or downtime


Client Relations

 • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during project execution

 • Provide regular updates and promptly address client questions or concerns


Safety Compliance

 • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards

 • Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure adherence to all protocols


Reporting

 • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, costs, and team performance

 • Provide insights and recommendations to management



3. Candidate Requirements


Education

 • Journeyman certification required

 • Additional education in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred


Work Experience

 • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role

 • Prior experience in plumbing or construction is strongly preferred


Skills & Knowledge

 • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards

 • Proficiency in project management tools and systems

 • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

 • Strong abilities in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control


Personal Qualities

 • Highly organized and detail-oriented

 • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

 • Ability to perform effectively under pressure

Performance will be evaluated monthly based on the following:

 • 95% of projects completed on time and within budget

 • Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 75 or higher

 • Zero OSHA safety violations per quarter

 • Inventory accuracy of 98%

 • Employee turnover below 10% annually

 • Sales conversion rate of 50% or higher
