Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring a smooth sales process from initial contact through to sealing deals.
- Conduct on-site or virtual presentations to educate prospective clients on our services, emphasizing the value and quality of our solutions.
- Navigate through customer needs to suggest appropriate products and services, providing a consultative and strategic sales approach.
- Prepare detailed proposals and quotes that align with customer needs, budgetary constraints, and company sales targets.
- Coordinate with other departments within Almco Plumbing to ensure client service requirements are met with timeliness and efficiency.
- Provide follow-up activities with potential clients to close sales and build lasting professional relationships focused on future service opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and to enhance the company's visibility in the market.
- Document and report on sales activities and results for senior management, providing insights into customer needs and competitive positioning.
- Maintain a high level of expertise regarding the state of the market as well as trends that can affect sales in the sewer, drain, and epoxy lining sectors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, particularly within the sewer, drain, and epoxy lining industries or related fields.
- Strong ability to function well in a team environment and to build positive, productive relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly convey the values and services of the company.
