Aiding With Care Health Services, INC is excited to announce a part-time job opening for a dedicated Home Health Aide. This position is designed for those who have a passion for caretaking and providing daily support to those in need. Located within a private home, this role requires direct care and interaction with our clients. Please note, this is not a remote job opportunity. The position offers a competitive remuneration of $18.00 per hour and a regular schedule on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. You will be taking care of an elderly female who is bedbound and suffers from dementia. She relies on total assistance for her daily activities and uses a Hoyer lift for all transfers.
Job Duties
- Provide full personal care including bathing, dressing, and incontinence care.
- Assist with repositioning and mobility to prevent bedsores and maintain circulation.
- Operate and handle a Hoyer lift safely for all patient transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist in feeding, ensuring dietary preferences and nutritional needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and sanitary living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging the client in activities that improve quality of life.
✔️ Requirements
- CNA or HHA certification preferred.
- Proven experience with dementia care.
- Familiarity with and ability to operate a Hoyer lift.
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate about providing care.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check.
- Possession of all necessary credentials.
- Valid Driver's License or State ID.
- Social Security card.
- Valid work authorization card.
- Complete necessary Continuing Education Units (CEU'S).
- Current First Aide/CPR certification.
- Professional liability insurance with a coverage of at least 1,000,000 individual and 3,000,000 general aggregate.
- Up-to-date Physical Exam, Chest X-ray, and PPD.
- Valid Home Health or CNA License.
