Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage schedules for health services staff ensuring optimal staffing levels across various shifts.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of operational procedures and client interactions.
- Oversee administrative budgeting and expenditure, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
- Facilitate communication across departments to promote a seamless flow of information concerning client care and staff management.
- Implement and monitor compliance with health care policies and regulations, ensuring all practices meet legal standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on departmental activities and progress for senior management review.
- Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage and resolve any issues arising from operational processes or in the administrative team.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with privacy laws.
- Lead and participate in meetings, workshops, and continuing education sessions to remain informed in all aspects of home health care management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant in a HOME HEALTH AGENCY setting, with senior-level experience strongly preferred.
- MUST BE ABLE TO COORDINATE STAFFING effectively and efficiently.
- Strong team player with the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
- A go-getter attitude, proactive and driven to excel in a high-stakes environment.
- Friendly personality, capable of engendering trust and building strong interpersonal relationships.
