Job Title: Entry-Level Dental Office Front Staff

We are looking for a motivated and reliable entry-level front office staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a desire to grow in the dental field.
Job Summary: As an entry-level dental office front staff member, you will play an essential role in ensuring that the office runs smoothly, patients are well taken care of, and all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills are key to succeeding in this role. Training and coaching will be provided to help you excel with your role.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in/check-out. Address patient inquiries and provide information regarding office policies, services, and insurance.
Phone Management: Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm upcoming appointments.
Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information, update records, and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
Administrative Support: Handle general office tasks, including filing, scanning, and maintaining organized patient records.
Billing and Payments: Collect payments and co-pays, process transactions, and assist with billing inquiries.
Patient Comfort: Ensure patients are comfortable while waiting and assist them as needed throughout their visit.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework is a plus).
Previous customer service experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in basic office software (Microsoft Office or equivalent).
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
A positive, friendly attitude and a passion for helping people.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus.
Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance processing.
Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus but not required.
