Since 2016 Dr. Kelly’s Surgical Unit has specialized in providing affordable surgical solutions to pets and their parents. We do not make house calls, but instead park our mobile hospitals at various locations throughout our service areas to meet the community need.

Since we started, we've provided over 150,000 low-cost or free pet surgeries. Dr. Kelly's fills the gap for owners looking for quality care without the significant cost burden.

Dr. Kelly’s is looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Technician to work M, T, W & TH. No long SOAP notes. No rooms to be worked up. No piles of tests needing to be run. Just 1 doctor and 4 techs working in close proximity. Getting it done.

Duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Check in/check out clients
• Recommend services, go over discharge instructions and medications being sent home - main point of contact with clients while their pet is on the unit
• Handle payments in the form of cash, credit card or care credit
• Follow up calls and triaging post-surgery questions with doctor direction
• Providing surgical estimates
• Drawing, logging and administration of premed drugs
• Catheter placement and anesthesia monitoring
• Assist Doctor in surgical procedures (s/n, dentals, mass removals, enucleations, etc.)
• Vaccine administration and basic knowledge of vaccination schedules (boosters vs annual)
• Ability to acquire Temp, HR, RR rates and blood draws
• Physical ability to walk up and down steps while assisting pets

1 doctor and 4 techs working in close proximity. Getting it done. We perform 15-30+ surgeries per day including S/N, dentals, mass removals, hernia repair, cystotomy, amputations, cherry eye, etc. You will need to be able to move quickly and stay focused. The position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This position is for 4 DAYS PER WEEK Monday - Thursday 7:00-3:00ish at our Peoria, AZ clinic off Olive and the 101.
