Already trusted by thousands of small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S., AvaHR is growing fast — and now we’re hiring a SaaS Sales Manager to lead our sales motion into its next stage.

What You’ll Be Doing – Responsibilities

This isn’t just a quota role — it’s a leadership seat on our go-to-market team. You’ll:

  • Own the sales pipeline: Manage and optimize the flow from SDR handoff to closed-won.

  • Coach & support SDRs: Develop two (and growing) sales development reps, ensuring they’re effective at qualification and handoff.

  • Run demos & deals: Lead product demos, handle complex prospect conversations, and close business with SMB decision makers.

  • Develop channel partnerships: Identify, recruit, and grow new partners (HR consultants, PEOs, associations, resellers).

  • Drive expansion revenue: Collaborate with Customer Success on upsell, cross-sell, and renewal strategies.

  • Represent AvaHR externally: Attend expos, trade shows, and industry events to generate leads and expand market presence.

  • Build playbooks: Create repeatable sales processes, reporting, and forecasting that scale.

What We’re Looking For – Requirements

You’re equal parts player and coach: comfortable closing deals yourself while building a system that helps others succeed.

  • 4+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in SaaS (SMB SaaS or HR tech experience is a plus).

  • Proven track record of closing business and/or building channel partnerships.

  • Experience coaching SDRs or leading small sales teams.

  • Strong presentation and consultative selling skills — you know how to ask, listen, and guide.

  • Comfortable using CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to manage pipeline and reporting.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for expos, partner meetings, or team gatherings.
