Clarius Medical Group, PLLC is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team serving the Clear Lake / Southeast Houston area.

This is a full-time, in-person position where you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, medical stabilization, and treatment of adult patients within a facility setting. As an Internal Medicine NP with our group, you will work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals to maintain our standard of excellence in patient care. This position demands a proactive approach to managing teen/ adult patient health, encompassing diagnostic assessments, management of acute/chronic issues, and the implementation of effective treatment plans during their stay at the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather information about health history and physical condition.
  • Comfortable treating teen and adult patients, conducting comprehensive or episodic health histories, and managing acute, chronic, and/or potential health problems.
  • Formulate, execute, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific medical needs.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and facility staff to discuss and manage patient care, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach.
  • Prescribe medications following state and federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to patients and their families regarding treatments and care plans.
  • Maintain patient records with utmost accuracy and privacy in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Must be Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas
  • Active Texas APRN / Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
  • Previous outpatient or facility-based clinical experience is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and provide care without direct physician supervision.
  • Familiarity with medical software/EHR (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus).
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, family members, and professional staff.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
