Clarius Medical Group, PLLC is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our addiction treatment and recovery center serving the Clear Lake area of Houston. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, clinically strong provider who wants to help patients safely begin recovery and rebuild their lives.
Our program is centered on healing the whole person in a structured, supportive environment. We care for adults with substance use disorders and related medical needs through a collaborative, physician-led model focused on safety, dignity, stabilization, and long-term recovery.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about patient care, thrive in team-based environments, and want to play a meaningful role in addiction treatment, detox support, and recovery-focused medicine.
Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and ongoing assessments for patients receiving addiction treatment
Assess, diagnose, and manage substance use disorders, withdrawal-related concerns, and common co-occurring medical conditions
Support detoxification, stabilization, and recovery planning in collaboration with the supervising physician and interdisciplinary care team
Order and interpret labs, diagnostics, and other clinical testing as appropriate
Prescribe and manage medications within scope and according to clinical and regulatory guidelines
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition throughout treatment
Coordinate referrals to specialty care, behavioral health, and community-based resources when needed
Document all patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
Educate patients and families on recovery, relapse prevention, medication adherence, and wellness
Help maintain high standards of quality, safety, compliance, and compassionate care
Active Texas APRN / Nurse Practitioner license
National certification through ANCC or AANP
Experience in addiction medicine, detox, residential treatment, behavioral health, primary care, internal medicine, or urgent care strongly preferred
Newer providers with strong clinical training and a genuine interest in addiction treatment are encouraged to apply
Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
Experience with EHR documentation; eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
