Job Title: Medical Assistant / Clinical Care Coordinator (Bilingual Hindi/Urdu Preferred)

Location: Sugar Land, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced geriatric and internal medicine practice. This is a dynamic, combination role where your day will be split: half of your time will be dedicated to hands-on clinical care during clinic hours, and the other half will focus on administrative program management, specifically our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) programs.

You will work closely with our Lead Medical Assistant, who will train you to seamlessly interchange duties and share the daily workload. We are looking for a fast learner who is adaptable, efficient, and ready to take ownership of both patient care and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Duties (50%): Room patients, take vital signs, perform EKGs, execute blood draws/phlebotomy, and assist the provider with in-office procedures.
  • Program Management (50%): Act as the Clinical Coordinator for our RPM and CCM programs. This includes patient outreach, monitoring incoming health data, and scrubbing charts (ANS, etc.) to ensure accurate billing.
  • Task & Workflow Management: Manage incoming patient tasks and calls ("jelly beans" in our EMR).
  • Lab Processing: Cross-train to share bulk administrative duties, including navigating lab portals (like MHL), printing and prepping daily lab reports, and calling patients with results.
  • Team Collaboration: Work side-by-side with our Lead MA to split the daily workload, ensuring no task falls behind whether in the clinic or during admin time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required. Strong clinical skills (phlebotomy, vitals, EKGs) are a must.
  • Technology Proficiency: Must be highly proficient with computers and a fast learner when it comes to new software. Prior experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is highly desired.
  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in Hindi , Urdu , Spanish  is strongly preferred to effectively communicate with our specific RPM/CCM patient demographic.
  • Work Ethic: Must be efficient, organized, and willing to learn new workflows that require patience in the beginning but become streamlined over time.

Why Join Us?

This is an excellent opportunity for an MA who wants to expand their skill set beyond standard clinical work and gain valuable experience in healthcare program management and billing coordination.
