Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, organizing resumes, scheduling interviews, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Implement and administer HR programs and policies as directed by the HR Manager.
  • Assist with payroll processing by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves.
  • Prepare reports relating to HR activities (staff turnover, recruitment, training hours, etc.).
  • Support the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow.
  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Address employee queries about HR-related issues.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and induction processes.
  • Support the organization of company events and team gatherings.
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g., help organize a job fair event).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position.
  • Familiarity with HR databases and HRIS software (e.g. HRMS or HRIS).
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and employment standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
  • Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Good understanding of MS Office tools (especially MS Excel).
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
