Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Insulation Removal Installer to join our team. This full-time position involves removing old insulation and related materials from attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces, preparing areas for treatment or repair, and installing new insulation when required. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical work, working in tight spaces, and maintaining safety and quality standards on every job.
Key Responsibilities:
This position includes, but is not limited to:
- Remove insulation, vapor barriers, and other materials from attics and crawlspaces
- Prepare areas for restoration, repair, or treatment services
- Install replacement insulation when required
- Perform light demolition such as removing drywall, cabinetry, or damaged materials
- Safely operate hand tools and jobsite equipment
- Work in confined spaces including attics and crawlspaces
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
- Communicate job progress and site conditions with supervisors and team members
- Travel to job sites within the service area
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in insulation, construction, or demolition is required
- Willingness to work in attics and crawlspaces
- At least 18 years of age-Ability to legally work in the United States
- Basic understanding of household electricity
- Self-motivated/ hard working
- Independently solve problems
- Honesty
Work Environment:
- Residential and commercial job sites
- Attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces
- Dusty or dirty environments
- Varying temperatures depending on job location
Additional Details:
- As employee proves competency, reliability, and independence, as well as gain a strong grasp of our work process in a safe, cost-effective manner, they will be eligible for pay increases during performance evaluations.
- All potential employees will be subject to a 2-3 day on-site evaluation period before an officialcontract will be offered.
