Arise Distributions, a leading company in the distribution sector, is excited to announce a new opening for the position of Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our sales efforts and will be pivotal in helping us expand our clientele. The role requires a proactive approach to handling customer relations and a robust drive to reach, if not exceed, sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met while advocating for the company’s products.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
- Perform direct marketing and sales activities to generate sales as per the agreed sales and marketing plan.
- Present to customers the latest updated offers issued and prepared by the sales manager in order to increase sales in the showroom.
- Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support.
- Carry out market research, competitor, and customer surveys.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills to performance improvements.
- Implement the sales strategy within a defined territory to increase the customer base.
- Document sales and order information, and report the same to the sales department.
- Ensure effective handling of clients' orders and resolve any issues that may arise during the order-processing phase.
- Monitor performance against targets on a regular basis to ensure that KPIs are being met.
- Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate the brand promise to clients and prospects.
- Maintain awareness of the company’s promotion and advertising efforts to effectively work with these initiatives in sales scenarios.
- Manage and update client accounts to optimize the customer satisfaction level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative with a track record of overachieving targets, preferably in the distribution sector, with a minimum experience of 800 sales.
- Highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed in a sales environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to handle client’s demands effectively and professionally.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must possess a professional appearance and a strong ethical framework.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software to manage and forecast sales opportunities.
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into numbers and solutions.
