Covington Promotions is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and dynamic Brand Ambassador. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about enhancing brand awareness and fostering audience engagement. As a Brand Ambassador for Covington Promotions, you will play a crucial role in promoting a trusted internet services provider within the Norfolk area. Your primary goal will be to execute strategies that build our client's brand while maintaining a positive company image.

This is an on-site position based in Norfolk, and it is critical that the candidate has the capacity to travel within the region. This is not a remote job and requires the ambassador to interact personally with the local community, ensuring an impactful presence and connection.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with residents in assigned Norfolk neighborhoods to effectively introduce and promote internet services provided by our client.
  • Help potential customers check internet availability directly at their addresses, providing accurate and up-to-date information on availability and service options.
  • Communicate current promotions and service options available to potential customers, enhancing understanding and encouraging subscription.
  • Collect lead information from interested prospects and schedule appointments for further engagement or service installation.
  • Participate in local events and tradeshows on behalf of the company, acting as the face and voice of the brand, and enhancing public perception.
  • Provide feedback and client insights to sales and marketing teams to improve strategies and approaches based on direct community interactions.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly targets in brand awareness and customer engagement metrics.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
  • Must have reliable transportation to navigate assigned neighborhoods and attend various local events.
  • Access to a smartphone with data; tech-savviness to manage scheduling and reporting tasks efficiently through mobile platforms.
  • Previous experience in sales, outreach, or customer service is a strong advantage but not strictly necessary.
  • Must be professional and dependable, ready to commit to the role with enthusiasm and reliability.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team, adept at managing time effectively to meet outreach goals.
