As an Associate Dentist at FZ Dentistry, you will join a vibrant team of skilled dental professionals in providing high-quality cosmetic, implant, and family dental services. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to enhance skills in various advanced dental techniques and to grow professionally within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and perform dental procedures in areas including restorative dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery
  • Design treatment plans tailored for individual patient needs and preferences while adhering to the highest standards of dental care and ethics.
  • Maintain accurate records of patients’ treatments and consultations, adhering to the clinic’s documentation system (Eaglesoft).
  • Participate actively in team meetings and collaborate with other dental professionals to improve clinic operations and enhance patient care quality.
  • Stay current with new technologies and practices in dental care; participate in educational opportunities to advance knowledge and skills.
  • Provide mentorship to dental assistants and other junior staff to foster a supportive and professional work environment.
  • Handle dental emergencies promptly and efficiently, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  • Commit to the ethical principles of the dental profession, including patient confidentiality and rights compliance.
  • Contribute to the office’s outreach and community involvement initiatives, promoting dental health awareness and preventive care.

Requirements

  • DMD or DDS from an accredited Dental School.
  • Valid State Dental Board license to practice dentistry.
  • Level 1 sedation license required.
  • Some oral surgery experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cosmetic, implant, or family dental practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a comprehensive range of dental issues and emergencies.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high treatment standards and patient satisfaction.
  • Strong inter-personal skills to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new procedures and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in patient treatment and records.
