Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose issues with plumbing systems and hardware.
• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Handle scheduled maintenance checks and servicing tasks.
• Troubleshoot effectively, identifying and resolving plumbing problems efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety practices and building codes.
• Recommend upgrades or preventative maintenance measures to clients.
• Communicate with clients, providing necessary information regarding system conditions and changes required.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on daily operations and system statuses.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure required materials and supplies.
• Manage time effectively to complete all tasks according to schedule and deadline ranges.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and workspace.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber in residential and commercial settings.
• Full understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Adept at handling plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.).
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in cramped spaces.
• Detailed knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
• Effective communication skills, capable of explaining complex systems to non-technical individuals.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation.
• Relevant credentials in plumbing, such as a trade certification or apprenticeship completion.
• Commitment to efficient and accurate workmanship.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and on an emergency call-out basis when needed.
• Being customer-oriented and friendly.
