Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain responsibility for the safe operation of company vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure all cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and company policies.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment to identify the need for repairs or maintenance.
• Monitor road conditions and weather reports to safely navigate routes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to efficiently manage schedules and route changes.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal mandated regulations and laws.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pick-up operations.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, vehicle service, and repair status.
• Handle documentation ensuring accurate delivery and freight management.
• Efficiently manage routes to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups while maintaining safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum age: 22 years.
• At least 5 years passed since any DUI incident.
• Acceptance of felonies on a case-by-case basis.
• No failed drug screens.
• Minimum 12 months Over-the-Road (OTR) experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience with flatbed operations.
• Ability to manage intensive weekend home scheduling.
• Physically fit to meet the demands of flatbed trucking.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor, representing the company in a positive manner.
• Ability to handle physical workload involved with flatbed freight.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols.

Roles Info:

• Home weekends.
• 90% preloaded/pretarped freight.
• 75% drop and hook.
• Weekly earnings between $1500 and $2000.
• Operate 2019 or newer tractors.
