Lincoln Transportation LLC is excited to announce a job opening for a dedicated Florida Dedicated Class A Driver. This position provides an attractive weekly payment of $1,450 and guarantees weekly home time, fostering work-life balance crucial for our dedicated team members. Based out of Ocala, Florida, this role is ideal for individuals looking to secure consistent regional routes without the unpredictability of over-the-road schedules. This is a physically engaging role requiring manual unloading of freight at customer locations through the use of rollers, suited for drivers who appreciate staying physically active during their workday.

It's essential to note that this is not a remote job. Our drivers will be operating with brand-new, well-equipped vehicles, including sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53' dry van trailers. Drivers may take these trucks home, provided they have safe and secure parking. This position not only promises reliability and stability but also prioritizes the comfort and safety of our drivers with top-tier equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete regional deliveries as scheduled, primarily around Miami, Fort Myers, the FL Keys, Tampa, and Orlando.
• Perform an average of 3 turns per week, with each turn averaging 3–5 stops per load.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with all company and regulatory policies.
• Unload freight at each customer location utilizing company-provided rollers.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, and report any problems or maintenance needs to the fleet manager.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including secure loading of goods and proper handling of equipment.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to report delivery status and manage any on-road incidents or delays.
• Represent Lincoln Transportation with professionalism during interactions at customer sites and while on the road.
• Participate in necessary training sessions to handle equipment safely and stay updated on company protocols.
• Manage logs and capture delivery documentation accurately through electronic logging devices (ELDs).

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A License.
• Minimum 3 months of Over-the-Road (OTR) experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background check.
• Residence within 50 miles of Ocala, FL to ensure proximity to home base and regional routes.
• Ability to handle physical workload, including the unloading and securement of freight.
• Capability to operate automatic transmission vehicles and manage electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with dispatchers and customers.
• Commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency in all operations.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training as required by regulatory changes or company policies.
