About the Role

Complete Logistical Services is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Specialist in Morgan City, LA to safely and efficiently manage the movement, storage, and preparation of materials. This role supports warehouse operations and helps ensure inventory accuracy, shipment correctness, and timely fulfillment.

Success in this position means maintaining an organized workspace, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against records, creating accurate shipping data, and promptly identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies—all while following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse to support efficient workflow.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed to complete daily tasks.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare inventory accurately to meet established timelines.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tracking items and reporting discrepancies.
  • Examine shipment contents and compare them with manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
  • Create and maintain shipping data to ensure records remain current and correct.
  • Select appropriate shipping methods based on item characteristics and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate with team members and relevant establishment representatives to resolve issues such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance.
  • Use work devices such as hand trucks and sorting bins to route materials to the appropriate departments.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-energy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to support an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and shift heavy objects; able to maintain standing, walking, and bending for extended intervals.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent detail orientation and organizational abilities to support accurate inventory and shipping records.
  • Proficiency in both independent work and team-oriented tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Essential computer capabilities to support internal management systems and data accuracy.
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
  • Ability to perform tasks at elevated heights and in areas adjacent to water.
