About the Role
Complete Logistical Services is seeking Industrial Techs to support field operations in Harvey, LA. This role performs essential site safety and cleaning-related tasks, including fire watch, hole watch, pressure washing, confined-space entry support, and tank squeegeeing.
Success in this position means consistently following safety procedures, using required PPE, maintaining clear communication, and completing assigned work during 10-hour shifts Monday–Thursday, with the possibility of additional Friday and weekend hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform fire watch duties to monitor hot work areas and respond promptly to safety concerns.
- Conduct hole watch responsibilities to maintain safe conditions around open excavations and hazards.
- Execute pressure washing tasks to support site cleanliness and preparation goals.
- Support confined-space entry activities by following entry procedures and safety requirements.
- Perform tank squeegeeing duties to move and remove materials as directed by site instructions.
- Follow all applicable safety plans, work instructions, and site-specific procedures.
- Use and maintain required PPE, including hard hat, steel-toe boots, long sleeve FR clothing, high-visibility clothing/vest, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Monitor work areas for hazards and immediately report unsafe conditions to the appropriate team lead.
- Maintain accurate awareness of site conditions and communicate status updates clearly during shift changes.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to the schedule for 10-hour shifts Monday–Thursday.
- Demonstrate readiness to work additional hours when needed, including possible Friday and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
- HAZWOPER training.
- Gulf Coast Safety Council Basic Plus (Correct).
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts Monday–Thursday, with potential Friday and weekend availability.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and hazard awareness.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic physical readiness for field work, including standing, walking, and working around industrial site conditions.
- Strong reliability and punctuality to support shift coverage and task completion.
- Clear communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
