Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce an opening for an Able Bodied Seaman (AB) to join our dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility of a contract/temporary role with the option to work fully remotely. We are seeking a dedicated professional capable of contributing effectively to our operational needs and upholding the highest standards of maritime operations. As an AB, you will play a critical role in the safe operation and maintenance of our vessel assets, working under the guidance of the Captain and Mate to ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and U.S. Coast Guard regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Stand navigational watches and maintain a proper lookout while underway.
- Perform deck maintenance, including painting, chipping, grinding, pressure washing, and general preservation of the vessel.
- Handle mooring lines during docking, undocking, and towing operations.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo and equipment.
- Operate deck equipment such as cranes, winches, capstans, windlasses, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
- Assist with vessel housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Conduct safety inspections and report equipment deficiencies to the Mate or Captain.
- Participate in emergency drills and respond to emergencies, including man overboard, fire, flooding, and abandon ship situations.
- Assist with fueling operations and transfers as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and Safe Work Practices.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Captain or Mate.
Requirements
- Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with current dates.
- 3rd or 2nd Assistant Engineer - Unlimited rating with Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) endorsement on License.
- Basic Safety Training and Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties (VPDSD).
- Current USCG Medical Certificate with valid National and STCW dates.
- Water Survival must be the T-HUET, FOET or BOSIET certified.
- Rigging certification (API-RP-2D standard).
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Safegulf or Rigpass certification.
