As an Operations Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing the operational integrity of our services. Please note, this is an on-site position and is not available for remote work.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management, logistics, and process improvement. This role is crucial in ensuring employee leadership/management while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and improve operational practices for efficiency and accountability.
- Allocate resources and materials to meet project deadlines.
- Track and forecast operational trends and analysis.
- Provide daily operations oversight for outside teams and work closely with the CEO.
- Enforce policies and procedures in accordance to HR regulations.
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA standards.
- Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals to promote a collaborative and efficient workplace.
- Implement strategic plans to enhance operational accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
- Engage with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the supply chain is efficient and cost-effective.
- Organize and oversee inventory by implementing and maintaining control systems to handle potential discrepancies.
- Oversee and support staffing requirements and ensure team members are trained on necessary skills and standards.
- Evaluate performance metrics and adjust operations to meet company objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
