Duties and Responsibilities

• Order Processing & Customer Fulfillment
  • Receive and process customer orders from sales or customer service teams.
  • Review orders for accuracy, product availability, and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate order priorities to meet customer deadlines and service commitments.
  • Communicate order status and shipping updates internally.
• Shipping & Warehouse Operations
  • Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Verify quantities and product specifications before shipment.
  • Load delivery trucks using forklifts or material handling equipment.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules with drivers and logistics personnel.
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for deliveries.
• Inventory Coordination
  • Work closely with Receiving Manager to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory organization.
  • Identify shortages or backorders and communicate proactively.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Follow OSHA and company warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ensure safe loading practices and proper material handling.
  • Maintain organized, clean shipping and staging areas.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years warehouse shipping, logistics, or distribution experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with order picking, staging, and outbound logistics.
• Strong computer skills (ERP, WMS, inventory systems).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in an industrial warehouse environment.
• Experience in industrial supply, construction materials, or oil & gas logistics.
• Leadership or supervisory warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of safety equipment / PPE distribution.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Communication and coordination skills.
