Complete Logistical Services proudly announces an opening for a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily logistical operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that goods and materials are moved safely and efficiently around our facilities, contributing directly to the overall success of our operations. The position offered is a full-time role and primarily based onsite; it is not a remote job. Successful candidates will be integral to day-to-day operations and aid in the fulfillment of client demands and logistical needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate various types of forklifts such as stand-up, sit-down, and pallet jacks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
• Maintain equipment by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform checks to ensure that load matches order prior to vehicle departure.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
• Complete daily logs and reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Forklift Operator.
• Must be able to use stand-up and sit-down forklifts proficiently.
• Strong understanding of general warehouse operations and pallet handling.
• Ability to work the 2:30pm-11pm shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination, capable of lifting heavy objects.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts.
• Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
