Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce a fantastic job opportunity for a dynamic individual aiming to advance their career in the welding inspection field. We are currently seeking a skilled Certified Welding Inspector to join our team on a Contract/Temporary basis. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in challenging environments and are committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in welding operations. 

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for operational excellence by overseeing various welding projects. Engaging directly on-site, the Certified Welding Inspector will ensure all welding works meet the strict industry and safety standards. This role is structured around a 14 on/14 off rotation schedule where you will work 12 hours per day, ensuring rigorous oversight and management of all welding activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections on new structural weld fabrications offshore, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Supervise onsite Welders, ensuring they adhere strictly to the welding procedures and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure traceability and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to discuss and resolve quality or safety issues arising during welding operations.
  • Conduct audits on welding equipment and materials to verify their suitability and condition for use in critical operations.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance the efficiency and quality of welding processes.
  • Interface with external regulatory bodies and clients to demonstrate compliance with external safety and quality audits.

Requirements

  • Current Merchant Mariner Credential with up-to-date validity.
  • Valid USCG Medical Certificate with current National and STCW dates.
  • Valid BOSIET certification.
  • Rigging certification as per API-RP-2D standard.
  • Current or pending USCG Physical & Drug screening valid for duty.
  • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • SafeGulf certification.
  • Must possess a valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading welding operations, preferably in an offshore environment.
  • Ability to work a 14 on/14 off rotation, 12 hours per day, as per the operational requirements.
  • Expenses covered include $35 per meal (on-shore), along with provided hotel accommodations, airfare, and mileage reimbursement.
  • Must be capable of traveling to the offshore site as required.
  • Contractual Mobilization (MOB) date: 2/25/2026 and Demobilization (De-MOB) date: 6/1/2026.
