As a Compensation Analyst at Complete Logistical Services, you will be tasked with maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring accurate compensation structures across the company. This position demands a high level of precision and expertise in managing extensive data and analytics within the HRIS platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build, update, and maintain foundational workforce structures in Oracle, including jobs, grades, grade rates, and related data elements.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into structure updates and prepare multiple iterations for system test loads.
- Troubleshoot file errors, resolve formatting issues, and ensure structure files meet Oracle configuration requirements.
- Maintain accuracy and precision to prevent downstream system failures.
- Perform detailed manual mapping of legacy PeopleSoft data to Oracle configurations due to the absence of automated tools.
- Map employees to the correct Oracle salary basis based on current compensation structures.
- Validate and align each employee to the appropriate Oracle job code, job function, job family, and career level.
- Convert and map compensation components (e.g., comp codes, individual comp plans) from PeopleSoft categories to Oracle plan types.
- Ensure mapping accuracy and clean, consistent data across systems.
- Conduct thorough validation of test conversion files by comparing PeopleSoft data to Oracle outputs.
- Use pivot tables, filters, and cross-checks to confirm accurate mapping, formatting, and transformation logic.
- Identify discrepancies, data gaps, or duplicate records and coordinate resolutions with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure employee and job history records are complete, accurate, and properly structured for system load.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, or similar HRIS platforms.
- Ability to analyze large data sets using Excel (pivot tables, filters, lookups).
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data errors.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and HR stakeholders.
- Must have Analytical Compensation Analyst Experience.
