Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce an opening in our Welding department. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is an onsite position, requiring the presence of the candidate at our facility, as it is not a remote job. As a part of our welding team, you will be playing a pivotal role in the fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance of various structures and components crucial to our operations and client service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The primary role of this position is to perform fitting and welding using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes in the fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance of structures, subsea hardware, and other components manufactured by Global Machine Shop.
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together in accordance with Engineering drawings or schematics.
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
  • Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.
  • Set up equipment and weld parts using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes.
  • Perform welding in accordance with Engineering-approved welding procedures.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
  • Handle both ferrous and nonferrous materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure optimal work quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Preferred five (5) years of experience fitting and welding with FCAW and GMAW processes on carbon and stainless steels.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience fitting and welding with GTAW process on carbon and stainless steels.
  • Must be able to pass AWS D1.1 and D1.6 welder performance qualifications in all positions on plate and pipe.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft 365 or similar software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of metal properties and machining procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, precision, and safety consciousness.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions and environments.
