With an emphasis on fresh, hand-crafted dishes, we're searching for a dedicated culinary professional to join our team. The Cook / Pizza Maker will play a critical role in daily operations, ensuring each dish from pizzas to pastas is crafted with care and consistent with our brand standards. This position is not remote and requires presence at our local kitchen facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook pizzas, pastas, and other menu items according to recipe and quality guidelines.
  • Stretch, top, and bake pizzas with professionalism, adhering to precise culinary techniques and timing during high volume periods.
  • Efficiently prep ingredients, sauces, and dough to maintain a fully stocked line and readiness for service demands.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and food-safe station throughout all stages of food preparation and service.
  • Adhere to strict portion control, plating, and presentation standards to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
  • Manage cooking times and ticket orders effectively to ensure smooth flow of service.
  • Contribute to opening and closing duties, including cleaning, inventory management, and necessary administrative tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing team efforts to refine recipes, introduce new menu items, and enhance overall dining experience.
  • Assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook, pizza maker, or in a similar role within a kitchen environment; specific experience in pizza-making is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable ability to handle and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced work setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Commitment to a full-time schedule, with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects of up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Reliability and punctuality with a professional work ethic.
