Overview

Probotics is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our growing team in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys building, assembling, and problem-solving. As an Assembly Technician, you’ll help fabricate and assemble advanced filling machines and automation equipment, ensuring top quality and reliability.

Duties

• Assemble filling machines, including sheet metal components, sub-assemblies, and electrical cabinets using hand and power tools

• Follow documented assembly processes and specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Perform fabrication and basic fitting as required, maintaining precision and quality in all work

• Conduct quality checks and routine troubleshooting on assembled products

• Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve processes and solve assembly challenges

• Keep the shop clean and organized, always following safety protocols

• Use ERP and inventory systems to track work orders, parts, and inventory

• Receive, log, and organize parts and materials; assist with shipping and receiving as needed

• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment if necessary (training provided)
  
  

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge, ideally in assembly, fabrication, or related manufacturing work

• Experience assembling mechanical and/or electrical components in a factory or warehouse setting preferred

• Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and following detailed instructions or blueprints

• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management is a plus

• Previous forklift experience helpful, but not required—training available

• Bonus: Experience with prototyping, CAD, CNC, 3D printing, or shop fabrication equipment
