HR Generalist

Salary Range:  $75,000 - $125,000 year

The Opportunity:We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team and support the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about improving workplace culture, ensuring compliance, and optimizing HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and HR inquiries

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes

  • Maintain and update HRIS, personnel files, and benefit records

  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures

  • Partner with department managers to support performance reviews, training, and development

  • Ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts employment laws

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs

  • Assist with payroll processing, attendance management and timekeeping systems.

  • Employee conflict resolution management. 

  • Company policy and rule compliance management.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Strong knowledge of Massachusetts and federal labor laws

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required

  • Legal industry experience is a plus
